this morning as i waited for my husband to pick me up from my place of work had noticed some thing quite intrusting in behaviour of the animals. it was a bee picking on an ant this had time this had gone on for about 5 min. Then this spider had came out of the burrow and gave both of then a wack. then procceded to go back into the burrow thoguht that even though the spider would only be responding to the vibration on his/her web though burrow. I had found the beahviour intrusting.

What an interesting story. Did the spider take either of them? I know few spiders eat ants, and they are probably wary of bees. What do you mean by a wack? Even waiting to be picked up is interesting if you watch the invertebrates!
